Welcome to the official website of the Sullivan South Rebel Band. The Sullivan South Rebel Band is an award winning high school band located in Kingsport, Tennessee under the direction of Mr. Brent Palmer. The guard instructors are Nancey Strickler and Ashley Futch. The percussion instructors are Mark Peters and Josh Stevenson.

The Rebel Band is looking forward to another great year. This seasons fall show is titled War, Love and Peace. We are very excited about the show and have had a great time putting it together. A special thank you to Drew Farmer and Bryan Harmsen who have done so much to help us put the show together. It's been great working with such talended people.

I have updated several parts of this web site to help keep you informed about the many activities of the band. I hope you find this helpful; there will be many additions to this site as the season progresses.

The Sullivan County Education Association recognized last March as Music In Our Schools month in the March 2008 Issue of The Compass. It contains the latest information about the trends in music education and the facts about the benefits of music in public schools.
