The primary goal of the Sullivan South High School Band program is to make a positive difference in the lives of the band members by providing musical experiences and performances to assist them in achieving their potential and to develop a lifelong love of and participation in music and the arts. Our music education curriculum strives to develop each student's cognitive understanding, musical technique, artistic expression, and demonstration through performance. It is our desire to be actively engaged in our school and in our community by sharing a love of music and building connections through our art. The Sullivan South Band Boosters Association serves to support excellence in music education by providing funding and assistance to the Sullivan South H.S. Band Program (i.e. Marching Band, Concert Band, Winter Guard, Winter Drumline, and Jazz Band) through donations and fundraising activities. We enthusiastically volunteer personal time for band related activities and seek to provide moral and financial support to achieve success.
