FUN FEST

This is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Sullivan South Band. Thank you to all of the parents and volunteers who have dedicated their time and efforts to making sure this event is a success. Fun Fest

In the middle of July of each year, South, Central, and Volunteer Band Boosters work approximately 1200 hours each during this ten-day event. The profit from the concessions is divided equally among the schools provided the assigned hours are worked. There are a variety of jobs that are to be done during Fun Fest. You can sign up to work in the Storeroom (located in the back of the Civic Auditorium) where you could be setting up tables and food at trailer and tent sites, making hot dogs, to grinding ice. You can also sign up to work the tent or trailer sites. You could be working drinks, taking money, or working food. Students and family members that are high-school age or older may sign up to work.

Fun Fest Parade

This is the only opportunity the students have to march shoulder to shoulder with students from other schools. The students wear khaki shorts, white socks, white tennis shoes, and a Fun Fest Parade T-shirt. The Fun Fest Parade T-shirt provided it the students by the parade sponsor. The parade is the first Friday of Funfest and requires scheduled practices before the parade.
